A start-up needed an expert to develop and manage its marketing efforts, social media and collaborate with its public relations agency so company management could focus on sales and capital fundraising efforts.


Marathon Marketing, through its virtual marketing management (VMM) program, directed strategic counsel for initial branding, marketing and social media, as well project management with third-party agencies and vendors.


The client was able to remain focused on its mission of increased sales, product development, brand awareness and operational efficiencies and they were able to secure the capital funds they were seeking.



A Fortune 500 company was launching a new technology product with an integrated marketing campaign. The company, through its advertising agency, “nailed” the traditional media elements of the campaign. But social media - specifically LinkedIn - need special handling.


Marathon Marketing developed and executed a strategic LinkedIn campaign that worked in tandem with traditional media to target distinct audiences. In addition, content, including videos, graphics and copy along with a strategy was developed and employed.


The campaign met and exceeded the company’s goals. The campaign created awareness, interest and leads for the company’s new technology product with an above average CTR, engaging comments and key sales leads generation.



A large consumer product manufacturer needed an update to its licensing strategy and a comprehensive social media strategy including the launch of its social media presence and a senior manager to execute the plan.


Marathon Marketing conducted a complete review of the Company's existing licenses and a competitive analysis of the marketplace to develop a targeted licensing and social media strategy that would enhance the Company's market positioning.  The company was established on social media platforms reaching multiple audiences.
